Trustee message

It is with a deep sense of pride  that I lead our dedicated faculty and uniquely talented student body into the 21st century in a Trust which has such a rich and enviable legacy based on the ideologies of Swami Vivekananda, and his motto, “Arise, Awake, and Stop not till the goal is reached”. 
Grounded in bedrock vale with a contemporary vision. We have faculty and staff from a wide range of academic backgrounds who are joined by one strong unbreakable bond- a desire to provide a stellar education to our students in an environment which promotes creativity, freedom, and healthy learning.
Since more than 2 decades now, we are committed to providing a conducive, educational environment, modern technology in teaching, and excellent teaching staff for the fulfillment of our aim of achieving excellence and imparting quality education to our students. Our special focus is on high moral values, sound intellectual knowledge, decision-making skills, and promoting the development of essential skills in our students which go beyond classroom learning.
Education of the mind without the education of the heart is no education at all. We at the Vivekanand College strongly believe in this ideology and for this reason, while we focus on imparting academic knowledge to our students, we are equally focused on the all-around and holistic development of our students. We aim to develop in young people a strong value system along with traits like compassion and empathy so they can make a positive difference in the world around them.
It is a moment of great pride for us that every year we can produce stellar students who are going on to produce outstanding results in their university examinations, clear competitive examinations, and also bring us laurels in state-level sporting events. Of course, while the effort of the students is applauded, it is not possible without the tireless dedication of our faculty who are mentoring and supporting our students to ensure that they excel both within and beyond the classroom. We are also very thankful to the parents of the students, our alumni, and support staff for their commitment to our institution and their role in helping us to achieve our vision and becoming the epitome of education, in the whole of South Gujarat University. 
This spirit of discovery, driven by the willingness to take on new challenges is what makes our students graduate as articulate, expressive, and confident young people who excel in all the fields of life. For us, each student is very special and we are proud of our students and their achievements. We are confident that they will all go on to be the leaders of tomorrow in their forte and Vivekanand College being there  launchpad, to fly high in the endless sky.
